Get Growing Garden Program – Thursday, September 3rd
Join the farmers from Ollin Farms as they wrap up WOW!’s summer garden series. This month’s program will focus on harvesting produce and preparing the garden for the autumn months. Garden program is included with Museum admission.
Visit from Pirate Rosebud – Thursday, September 10th
Ahoy mateys! In celebration of Talk Like a Pirate Day, come aboard for a visit with Captain Rosebud! Captain Rosebud will enchant you with her magical and hilarious tales of wild pirates, stolen treasure and fairy gold. This special program is included with Museum admission.
WOW! Craft Club – Saturday, September 12th
Feeling crafty? Join us for our monthly Craft Club program. This month, we’re making monster themed bookmarks. Craft Club is geared for children ages 3 and up and is included with Museum admission.
Discovery Days Science Program – Tuesday, September 15th and Wednesday, September 16th
Time: 10:00am-12:00pm each day
This month’s topic: Sailing with Pirates
Discover your inner scientist! Drop-in and explore our monthly hands-on science program. This month, we’re learning about pirate ships and water. Discovery Days activities are included with Museum admission.
Gala(xy) – A Benefit for WOW! Children’s Museum – Friday, September 18th
Location: Omni Interlocken Hotel, Broomfield
3…2…1…prepare to blast off for an out of this world fundraiser to benefit WOW! Children’s Museum! Featuring an astronomical live and silent auction; a constellation of complimentary cocktails; refuel at our dinner stations and a stratospheric Science Lounge featuring hands-on science demonstrations for adults.

Mountain Kids Story Time – Thursday, September 24th
Miss Kristin from Mountain Kids will host a fun story time with bubbles, short stories and a sing-a-long with shakers. This active and engaging story time will make reading fun for young learners! Included with Museum admission.
Sensory Friendly Playtime – Sunday, September 27th
Sensory Friendly Playtime is a special event for children with autism spectrum or sensory processing disorders. WOW! will limit admission to 20 families, turn down sounds and lights and provide adaptive equipment to offer a safe and fun experience for all! Krista Reinhardt-Ruprech of Big Dog Little Dog Healing Arts will also be facilitating special art therapy activities. Reservations are required and space is limited. Brackitz Build It! – Tuesday, September 29th
