Discovery Days

Discover your inner scientist! Drop in and explore our monthly informal hands-on science sessions, then make a craft to keep. Activities are open for exploration from 10:00am-1:00pm and are included with your Museum admission. Many of our Art Room and Story Time activities will also reflect these monthly themes.

  • August – Energy Everywhere

    Sneak A Peek!
    We have developed a free one-hour Museum tour to show community members how WOW! impacts the children and families we serve by inspiring learning, enhancing education and connecting community. You'll meet our staff, hear stories from our members and community partners, experience a hands-on science activity and explore the Museum.

    Everyone is welcome, but space is limited. RSVP to Gemma at gemma@wowchildrensmuseum.org to reserve your spot. Tours are scheduled twice a month check out our calendar for more dates.

    Note: this tour is intended for an adult audience and we welcome teens who are prospective volunteers.
