Language & Movement Classes

abundance logoExpression through movement for children ages 18 months-6 years. While emphasizing spirit, mind, and body awareness abunDANCE integrates multiple intelligence’s and cross hemispherical activities with the integration of movement. Working on concepts such as: place, shape, level & size, direction, speed, balance, and body parts. Along with: rhythm, tempo, motor skills, cross-midline, and flexibility. While putting a heavy emphasis on independence and freedom within limits this dance class allows for creative self expression, bodily exploration, and further development of self-esteem. abunDANCE combines elements of classical dance, creative movement, yoga, drama, story, and song.

French with Véronique

Yes, learning French can be fun!  This is an opportunity for children from 0 to 5 years old to learn the basics of the French language while participating in games, dancing and singing.  Simple vocabulary will be taught and pronunciation will be introduced in this interactive class.  Kids will be encouraged to participate!

My name is Véronique Carney, I am a native French speaker, and I have been teaching French either in groups or individually for more than 8 years.  I also teach adults but I especially enjoy sharing French with little ones.  And it is so much easier to learn a language when you are young!

The next four-week session will start on April 16, $9 per class ($36 total), discount for siblings (half price). Stay and play in the Museum after class at a discounted rate on that day by telling the Front Desk that you came for the French class.

This class is not taught by WOW! staff, so payment will not be handled by the Front Desk. Please pay the instructor by cash or check. Email Véronique or call (303) 661-9511 if you have any questions. Find out more online at

Spanish with Kena

For kids 0 to 5 years old. In this interactive class, kids will have fun building Spanish vocabulary through games, songs, stories and fun activities. Let’s play and learn together.

I believe that when we give someone the gift of learning a language, we are opening opportunities for understanding and respect of other cultures, and breaking the barriers to give them the key of the door that will open incredible journeys. This is what drives my passion for teaching Spanish to student of all levels. Originally from Mexico. I am a member of the Colorado Congress of Foreign Language Teachers.

Check again soon for dates for the next Spanish classes. Meanwhile, if you have any questions, please email Kena Guttridge or check out
